We were floored by the liquid art we got to sample at ACME last
week, the newest vintage from the team of winemaker Thomas Brown
and the Marc Mondavi Family.
This is Thomas’s partnership with Marc Mondavi and his family, a
gentleman who was reared in the wine industry at his father’s
Charles Krug Winery. It is a riveting, compelling example of the
beautiful, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wines from Howell Mountain. The

into the wine during the 20 months of barrel aging, and two + years
of bottle aging. We would use this wine as a prime example of a
100% Cabernet from Howell Mountain which is neither rustic nor
monstrous. It's a beautiful, ripe, luscious wine that simply plays
at a higher level. As you likely recall, 2012 was a magnificent
growing season, and all of that sunshine is on display in this
