That's what we did with Hollis. The first shop in the country to know about and sell this dynamite Cabernet back in its debut vintage was ACME Fine Wines. That was 11 vintages ago, if you can believe it (we cannot) and the wine is a little better known, just as delicious, and still an incredible value for Napa Cab!
Hollis is a small project spear-headed by James Stewart from Stewart Cellars and his brother-in-law and winemaker, Blair Guthrie. Sourced from the Max Vineyard in Yountville and their own estate vineyard, Hollis is fruit forward and balanced with well integrated French oak.
The 2018 Hollis is stunning! Accessible now with abundant flavors of cassis, black cherry, and a touch of sweet spice, the wine is also a powerhouse with firm but refined tannins and a long, lingering finish. Handpicked and sorted, Hollis is a great expression of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Delicious, and more precious than ever before... this will be sold out in a flash!!!
