This is a divine wine from Laura Maguire and her husband Kyle Gabriel, who first met while in film school in Boston and shared the same passions for great food and exquisite wine! Fast forward six years, they made their dream a reality and launched Paper Planes in 2014 with less than 200 cases. After their first harvest, they were hooked. In 2015, they quit their film jobs and relocated from LA to Napa to dive head first into the wine business.
Utilizing Laura's roots growing up in Napa Valley (her father is Larry Maguire of Far Niente), they re-connected with growers, winemakers and sommeliers to help share their story and grow the exciting new brand. Today, with the support of some amazing mentors, Laura focuses on the sales and marketing side of the business while Kyle is focused on winemaking and viticulture.
Fresh, crisp and lively are the words that come to mind when sipping Kyle and Laura's Paper Planes rosé. Pinot Noir grapes sourced from select growers in the Russian River Valley, where the cool climate allows the vineyards to ripen slowly and achieve excellent balance and bright crisp flavors. The 2019 is their 6th vintage and this bottling is loaded with fresh raspberries, meyer lemon and wet stone. This is a delicate and dry rosé, soft in color and nuance. 100% Pinot Noir~ So Fresh ~ So Fun!
