ACME Fine Wines Shipping Policy
During periods of extreme weather (either cold or hot), we may choose to be extra cautious and delay your shipment until it's safe to ship your wine.

ACME has a temperature controlled cellar on property where we can safely store your wine until it is picked up and shipped. 

Rates: Shipping rates for wine orders are determined by the total number of bottles shipped per order, the destination we are shipping to and any additionally packaging fees that may be required. For orders placed online, please note that listed shipping charges are estimates, with the final shipping charge calculated based on bottle size, weight and shipping preferences.

Shipping: Currently ACME Fine Wines uses UPS and FedEx as our default carriers outside of the state of California, and UPS and/or GLS as our default carrier within California. If you'd like to make other shipping arrangements (different carrier) please call or email us. We'll do our best to accommodate you! 

All purchases of alcohol must be made by an adult who is at least 21 years of age, and all shipments must be signed for by an adult who is at least 21 years old, with no exceptions. For this reason, ACME strongly recommends shipping your wine to a business address.

Shipping within California: If your shipping address is within the state of California, GLS delivery is recommended. 

Shipping outside of California: If you happen to live east of the Rockies, we strongly recommend using Air Shipping Methods to protect the integrity of your wine. ACME Fine Wines is not insured for heat or cold damaged wines in transit so getting the wine to you unharmed and in a timely manner is one of our most important priorities. Please call us for state specific shipping questions and details. 

PLEASE NOTE: Most wine orders submitted over the weekend will be processed and shipped out the following Monday or Tuesday, assuming the wine is in stock. If you place your order online, ACME will use the address you provide for shipping. Should a typo or incorrect information mean that we need to contact UPS or GLS to correct your shipping details, ACME reserves the right to charge your account any applicable address correction or rerouting fees. 

Order tracking: With each of your wine purchases, you will receive an electronic copy of the tracking number specific to each box shipped. For questions about tracking your in process order, please email us at acme@acmefinewines.com.
