ACME Fine Wines Shipping Policy
During periods of extreme weather either cold or hot, we may choose to be cautious and delay your shipment until a more wine-friendly time period, to ensure the safeguarding of your wine purchase. 
ACME has temperature controlled lockers on the premises in which we place wine until it is picked up and shipped. 

Rates: Shipping rates for wine orders are determined by the total number of bottles shipped per order, the destination where you'd like us to ship your wines and also includes handling and shipping supply fees. For orders placed online, please note that listed shipping charges are estimates, with the final shipping charge calculated based on bottle size, weight and shipping preferences.

Shipping: Currently ACME Fine Wines uses UPS as our default carrier outside of the state of California, and UPS and/or GSO as our default carrier within California. If you'd like to make other shipping arrangements (different carrier) please call us at 888-963-0440. We'll do our best to accommodate you! 

We are unable to ship using your UPS or FEDEX account number unless you have a valid alcohol contract with either company. All shipments must be signed for by an adult, with no exceptions. For this reason, ACME strongly recommends shipping your wine to a business address.

Shipping within California: If your shipping address is within the state of California, GSO delivery is recommended. 
Shipping outside of California: If you happen to live east of the Rockies, we strongly recommend using 2 Day Air or Overnight shipping to keep the integrity of your precious goods from point A to B. ACME Fine Wines is not insured for heat or cold damaged wines in transit so getting the wine to you unharmed and in a timely manner is one of our most important priorities. Put a RUSH on it: Need your wine order shipped out same day? Please call ACME at 888-963-0440 before 12 pm PST. If the wine you're requesting is in stock and it is not Friday, we willl do our very best to accommodate you. 

PLEASE NOTE: Most wine orders submitted over the weekend will be processed and shipped out the following Monday or Tuesday, assuming the wine is in stock. If you place your order online, ACME will use the address you provide for shipping. Should a typo or incorrect information mean that we need to contact UPS or GSO to correct your shipping details, ACME reserves the right to charge your account any applicable address correction or rerouting fees. 

Order tracking: With each of your wine purchases, you will receive an electronic copy of the tracking number specific to each box shipped. To track a current order, please go to www.ups.com or www.gso.com, enter your tracking number and the status of your delivery will appear. 
International Shipping: Please call us for details at 888-963-0440. We will do our very best to accommodate your request!
